United Way of Collier and the Keys (UWCK) stands at the forefront of tackling the unique environmental and economic challenges in the Florida Keys. Coral reefs are vital for global biodiversity and offer essential ecosystem services that enrich marine life, enhance economies through tourism and fishing, and provide natural protection against climate impacts. Through innovative reef restoration and community resilience strategies, we’ve achieved promising results.
Building on a solid foundation supported by our partnership with the United Arab Emirates (UAE), we are now ready to significantly expand our impact through additional education, workforce development, and community engagement strategies. Forging diverse partnerships is crucial, and we encourage philanthropic partners, government agencies, and private donors to join us in sustaining and scaling our initiatives for long-term success.
