Success by 6 offers a unique dollar-for-dollar match initiative, exclusively sponsored by United Way of Collier and the Keys in Monroe County. Teaming up with the Early Learning Coalition of Miami-Dade/Monroe, we facilitate access to School Readiness scholarships for children from low to moderate income families, enabling them to benefit from a full year of high-quality preschool education. These crucial scholarships, made possible by our collaboration and generous contributions from organizations like the Ocean Reef Community Foundation and First Horizon Bank, provide essential support for our community’s youngest learners.

United Way of Collier and the Keys empowers families and individuals to move from crisis to thriving. Through programs like Success by 6, we invest in education for long-term community success and short-term financial stability.
Quality Preschool Education
It is critical to students' kindergarten-readiness and long-term academic success, ensures children's safety, provides nutritional support, and helps identify any special needs while early interventions are possible.
Quality Childcare
It empowers the parents of young children to work and earn for their families' betterment. Yet, in Monroe County, high costs of quality childcare make it prohibitively expensive for paycheck-to-paycheck families and their children miss out on this opportunity.
Providing Scholarships
Funds provide scholarships for children from households with incomes of 150-200% of the Federal Poverty Level to attend a full year of quality preschool.
Reducing Expenses
This program significantly eases financial burdens for families, reducing childcare expenses from approximately $60/day to $14/day.
